The project aims to create a deep learning model that can identify Gardiner hieroglyph code by using an image file containing this hieroglyphic sign. The classifier used is a convolution neural network. To be recognized, an Egyptian sign should be approximately in the middle of the image file and should be represented in full (without cutoff). The neuronal net was trained on the dataset contained 100 images with a resolution of 128 by 128 pixels for each of the 274 classes of hieroglyphs.
